We are proud to announce and introduce Dr. Quinten Tuckfield, the new addition to our team at Georgia Center For Sight. Dr. Tuckfield is an accomplished ophthalmologist who brings unparalleled expertise and compassionate care to all his patients. His unwavering commitment to patient care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for each individual he serves, is a testament to his dedication and the value he places on each patient.

Dr. Tuckfield is a board-eligible ophthalmologist who is passionate about improving the sight of those he serves. His dedication to the field of ophthalmology is evident in his numerous professional achievements. Growing up in South Carolina, his parents instilled in him a love of learning and serving others, influencing his desire to become a physician. He received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University-Idaho and his medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He then completed his training in ophthalmology at The Ascension Eye Institute in Detroit, Michigan, where he was trained in Cataract Surgery utilizing advanced technology lenses and Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery. He provides services for cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and general eye care.

Dr. Tuckfield is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, The American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the Georgia Society of Ophthalmology. His commitment to research, demonstrated by his numerous publications in the field of ophthalmology, further underscores his knowledge and expertise.

Dr. Tuckfield and his Wife spend their free time chauffeuring their two school-aged children to various activities. They love hiking and camping as a family and spend as much time outdoors as possible.
