Dr. Quinten Tuckfield

Dr. Tuckfield is a board-eligible ophthalmologist who is passionate about improving the sight of those he serves. Growing up in South Carolina his parents instilled in him a love of learning and serving others which was influential in his desire to become a physician. He received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University-Idaho and his medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He then completed his training in ophthalmology at The Ascension Eye Institute in Detroit Michigan where he was trained in Cataract Surgery utilizing advanced technology lenses as well as Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery. He provides services for cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration and general eye care.

Dr. Tuckfield is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, The American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the Georgia Society of Ophthalmology. He has participated in research throughout his career and has several publications in the study of ophthalmology.

Dr. Tuckfield and his Wife spend their free time chauffeuring their two school aged children to their various activities. They love hiking and camping as a family and spend as much time outdoors as they can.
